For the first time, Amy Adams' daughter appears on the red carpet with her.
Aviana (14 years old) made a rare appearance on the red carpet for the first time, accompanied by her mother, the star Amy Adams, at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Adams (50 years old) joined her husband Darren Le Gallo and their daughter Aviana to attend the premiere of her new film at the festival.
For this occasion, Adams chose a blue off-the-shoulder dress adorned with jewels by the luxury fashion house Prada, while Aviana wore a strapless black dress.
During their walk on the red carpet and in her responses to journalists' questions, Adams revealed that her daughter is not interested in following her footsteps in the world of fame, adding: "That's not her current plan... She strongly wants a different path."
However, the Oscar-nominated star, who has been nominated six times, did not rule out the possibility that her daughter may change her mind someday. She continued by saying that she will see what happens, because nothing remains the same forever.
Amy also clarified that regardless of what her daughter, Aviana, chooses for her future career, she will always be by her side and support her no matter what she wants to do.
The actress also commented on what it means to share the film with her daughter, noting that what Aviana wants to know is how she has impacted her life and made her the woman she is today. She added that she tells her this all the time and is happy that Aviana is there to celebrate with her.
Adams also expressed excitement about sharing parts of the experience with her daughter, and as her mother, she will be more protective of her in the film industry.
Amy was particularly happy to have Aviana by her side, especially since she received the TIFF Tribute Award alongside her fellow stars, Angelina Jolie and Cate Blanchett.
Amy dedicated the award to her daughter "Aviana," indicating that this was the first time she attended such an event with her, seizing the opportunity to express her gratitude for all the significant ways that have changed her life.
Adams has always spoken candidly about motherhood over the years. In an interview conducted in 2017, she emphasized her hope to be an inspiration for her daughter, telling her that she can soar and just needs to find her own light.
Returning to the film, Adams portrays a mother who puts her career on hold to stay at home, but soon her new domestic life takes a surreal turn, adapted from Rachel Yoder's 2021 novel.
The film is supposed to premiere in theaters on December 6th.
