Kate Winslet considers facial wrinkles a beautiful thing

Obviously, the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines is not a problem for British star Kate Winslet, as she sees this as a kind of luxurious beauty.

In a recent interview, the Titanic star said that women grow more beautiful as they age, stressing that our faces as human beings become more expressive of who we are, revealing the structure of our bones, what we have lived in life, and telling our history.

The 48-year-old star admitted that she finds wrinkles around the eyes and on the back of the hands "incredibly beautiful", as she put it.

Kate Winslet also did not neglect to mention inner beauty, as she said that she learned, during her lifetime, that it is important to take care of oneself from the inside, not only with how you eat, and take care of oneself from a nutritional perspective, but by taking care of oneself from a mental health perspective, before adding: "It's about how you feel about yourself emotionally and physically, your place in the world, how you walk in the world, and how you live with integrity and sincerity."

Winslet stressed that people's feelings inside play an important role in their external beauty, noting that they directly affect how they perceive externally, saying: "I think these things are important, and these things show up in our appearance, and of course in how we feel. Beauty is more of a feeling than what we look at."

The star explained that society becomes more receptive to the way women appear, as well as their feelings over time, recalling how women did not have a voice, and were defending themselves when they began in the world of acting, indicating that if they wanted to talk about something they do not feel comfortable with, it would have been seen as a complaint, but the shift in Hollywood after the movement «MeToo» made more roles for actresses of all ages.

Kate added that there are a lot of new actresses doing incredible work, and that she believes that all of this really contributes to making special films full of people who know how to use their voices, which makes it an inspiration to others.

She added that women are using their voices in a remarkable way, and that is how she has also learned to value her and how to use her voice.

The 2018 Academy Award-winning star also admitted she regretted working with people accused of cases in which the victim was a woman.

Accepting the Dellis Powell Award for Excellence in Cinema at the London Film Critics Circle Awards in 2018, Winslet said she had some bitter regret in her for the bad decisions to work with people she wished she hadn't worked with.

At the time, she pointed out that not raising her voice and saying anything about it adds to the suffering of many women, and that it is the responsibility of the rule of law to pass judgments, and it is the responsibility of all of us to listen to the smallest voices, and never stop listening.
